He is actually a very cool villager to have on your island. He always looks to mysterious but calming at the same time. His house interior is amazing and he has a great sense of style. When he was on my island I would always catch him singing or talking to other villagers!

Popularity is always based on the aesthetic of the villager as there's really no other way to rate them, so yeah he's popular because he's a sparkly unicorn. If you like sparkly unicorns as I do, you should get him.

This!! He loooves to sing on mine too, and it's the cutest thing ever. I kind of had predicted that it would be Audie or Bob who liked to sing but neither of these really do it. Julian, on the other hand, is always on the plaza or somewhere near it singing his little heart out and it's the best ever.

Other than what the others have already posted, he gives out nice gifts...even if its his worn out clothes haha and DIYs! He also says the sweetest things like "I was thinking about you and now you're here, that makes me happy" also his interactions with villagers are so funny, called my uchi villager "mom"

I thought it was only linked to each personality type?

Julian was my number 2 I brought to my island, dianna was 1. Never regretted it he is adorable. besides he has his Phoenix,dragon and Egyptian mummy for company.
