So about Julian..

He visited my campsite and I don't regret asking him to stay. Unique look with the unicorn design, love his house, and his interactions with others have been super cute so far (particularly Papi..... aw horse friends!)

He definitely looks very unique and majestic, I could definitely see him being on my island if he wasn't already competing with like 4 other villagers. I also really like his theme and how his interior isn't actually overdone like it could've been, instead it's nice and classy, just like it should be. If I did have him on my island, because I am of course a master of ships, i'd definitely put him with Roscoe. I feel like they'd contrast with each other but also work well together, and it'd definitely be a cute couple for my island lore and personal headcanon. The fact that he's a unicorn does remind me of a particular scene from the Witcher 3 with Yennefer and Geralt though... so i'm not sure I want him on my island anymore, since he'd probably remind me of that scene every time I looked at him lmao.

Whether a villager is appealing is always down to personal taste at the end of the day. If you like him, I'd say go for him.

I've had him as a resident in New Leaf for numerous years now; he originally lived in one town, then I decided he'd fit a different town better and moved him out and sent him to that one instead. His unique unicorn design is really appealing, and if you enjoy the Smug personality like I do, then he's definitely great. After seeing a screenshot of what his house looks like in New Horizons, that looks pretty great too. Just an all-around solid villager, and I definitely see why he's popular.
