Yes! Finally a Simpsons and Futurama crossover! I love both shows and have been hoping for a crossover, my wishes must've been answered because the crossover is real. It is being shown on FOX on sunday [note EST] for me. I can't wait for what the producers have planned, what about you?

I love both franchises but I'm scared. Their worlds aren't designed to overlap! Agh.

Hopefully its better than the Family Guy/Simspons crossover? Tbh I haven't seen it, but I've heard bad things about it. I think Simpsons and Futurama have better reputations though, so it will probably be better.

The story tho, I'm intrigued ;3. I read the description on RCN that the Planet Express team will try and stop the Simpsons from doing [blank]

Going to watch it since I have nothing else to watch. Never really liked Futurama or the Simpsons. I know people will rant at me for saying the shows I watch are to immature but I prefer Famoly Guy and South Park over that

Should be fun.
Intrigued in what the story might be and to see the characters interact.
The FamGuy crossover was alright, had a few gems of laughter in there.
I'm sure the Futurama one will deliver!

Hopefully it will be better than the Family Guy/Simpsons crossover...Well, this won't have any involvement from the Family Guy writers, so it will be! The only things I found funny in that episode were a few Simpsons jokes like 'jumping the gorge', overall it was terrible.

I've always like both Simpsons and Futurama though, and I'm curious to how this is going to work.
I'm kind of guessing that each of the characters will get split up and partnered with each other. Maybe Bender gets Fry and Homer into trouble with the Mafia, Lisa grows fond of Lila as a strong and intelligent female role model, Bart continuously plays pranks on Zoidburg throughout the episode, Grandpa Simpson and the Professor do old people stuff.

Most of the characters already would work well with each other, it's just how they're actually going to make two worlds crossover.

I don't like Simpsons but I like Futurama.

I hate modern Simpsons, but enjoy classic (lets say stopping at S12) Simpsons.

Meanwhile I loved old S1-4 Futurama (hell, I'd argue its probably among the best in terms of consistency in episode quality), and movies I found pretty alright, but I kinda fell out of keeping up with the Comedy Central episodes. Though what I did see was for the most part alright. Not as consistently fantastic as the Fox episodes, but also not near as abysmal as modern Simpsons has become.

I don't even have Cable though, so I'm not sure when (if ever) I'll get to watching. But if I do, then I think the bulk of my enjoyment will be based on which side's creative voice is more heard for its production.

I agree with you there.

I don't mind The Simpsons but Futurama is one of my all-time favourite shows ngl so I will definitely watch it for that reason alone.

But yeah the Family Guy/Simpsons one was terrible imo. It felt like they just had all the characters meeting, then a few bad jokes, then it was over.

Hopefully the Futurama writers are heavily involved, that would give me more hope for this one.
