gayle - she’s literally adorable. i plan on having her on my island and i literally love her so much, she’s such a cutie.

fuchsia - definitely overlooked. i feel like people aren’t the biggest fans of villagers who have hair as part of their design but she’s so cute!!

deirdre - tbh, she’s my least favourite deer but she’s been growing on me recently. like fuchsia, she’s definitely overlooked and deserves some more love

hazel - she says uni-wow

katt - a cutie!! a lot of people think she’s ugly but i think she’s really cute,, her lil fang is adorable ;u;

Of my current villagers, I think my least popular ones are Roscoe and Pierce. Both are so sweet! Roscoe might look a little scary at first but he's so nice and always asks me to be careful of running haha He also loves to sing!

Pierce is my favourite jock! Although a lot of people don't like the jock personality, I think he's one of the best looking eagles and actually looks like a jock hahaha

Bro, I had pierce in new leaf, and I cried buckets when he unexpectedly moved out

Scoot was one of my starting villagers and never someone I would have otherwise considered, but he is adorable and makes me laugh the most out of all my villagers and I won't be letting him go anytime soon!

Antonio - the anteaters are super cute. Their tails are so fluffy! He is my starter jock
Celia - she's got very pretty colors and is super sweet!
Zell - such a cool villager. I'm a big fan of the smugs in general.
Del - he's literally a battleship!!
Vivian - the best of the snooty wolves. Gorgeous!
Wendy - super peppy and bright!
Kitt - she was my bestie in NL
Phoebe - literally a phoenix
Camofrog - so cute, but so cranky! Love the military theme, his house is army outpost in the jungle themed.

I've got quite a bit of the more unpopular villagers right now. I think the only popular one I have is right now is Bob, but that's okay! I like my villagers

I have Marcel in my campsite today, and he is SO gosh dang cute (my friend said he was horrifying, but that's just an objectively wrong opinion). Unfortunately I already have three dog villagers and am trying to move at least one!

bella, she's a cute goth mouse and she knows it! i've seen tiktoks where people hit her with a net, but i hope to see more love for her.

colton - you aren't the smug king anymore but i still love you!! no other smug looks like a prince straight out of a fairytale, complete with a rose in your mouth.

Gruff. He's a nice old goat. He is a cranky but I never felt like he was that cranky.

It seems like it's misinformation, not everything on a fan wiki is going to be correct. there's nothing that really indicates it being underwear, especially since it would be too many holes.. It's very obviously a lucha libre mask especially considering his wrestling theme, so it's weird people think its underwear

Didn’t necessarily say it’s correct and in fact I know fan wikis are often incorrect, just explaining how I think people get the idea. And honestly I‘ve been playing AC since New Leaf was new and didn’t even know Stinky was wrestling-themed until yesterday when I saw a screenshot of his house because I never see anyone talk about him or have him at all, but I guess that’s why we have this thread lol!

gayle is SO adorable i’m not sure why she isn’t more popular omg, i know alligators are an unpopular species but hey, so are rhinos and look at merengue. and gayle literally has a heart on her face!!

I don't have that made unpopular ones right now, but maybe the following villagers indeed need a bit more love in general:

Jacques - I love how he is a DJ blackbird and his house is a diner with a DJ set and a laptop, nothing else. Where is this dude sleeping? His eyes are sleepy so maybe nowhere. I still love him, especially since I gave him the catchphrase "bolognese" like he is trying to do some fake Italian every second sentence. Always cracks me up.

Fuchsia - She is the best uchi hands down for me. The make up looks nice on her, she is also the only villager I like with her hair. I was not really fond of her in NL because she always told me "Girlfriend" (and I'm a guy), but now she says precious, instant upgrade. I also love her house: it has this rebel teen vibe to it and she is also playing on the guitar.

Agent S - My favorite. I have her from WW and try to get her in every game. In my head canon she is a stunt double, action movie star, astronaut, spy, doctor, jack of all trades squirrel and since in her day-job she is launched from circus cannons to entertain the rest of the village she suffered serious brain damage, hence her derpy face and peppy idiotism. I love her to death, she really doesn't get any attention from the other fans.

Leonardo - he’s always there for me, although he hasn’t been giving me presents lately. According to Octavian, he has a fascinating backstory.

Rasher - He always calls me a good pal, and he always appreciates my gifts. And I wanna know where he got those scars.

Ursala - Her house is cool and, despite not seeming very fond of the dress I got her, wears it often.

Jeremiah - He’s so cute, always running around on the beach or in the plaza. He looks great in an egg hat and frog shirt.
