Should I start ACNL again despite the 2.0 ACNH update?

I miss the charm and the "old school" feel of ACNL. I have also heard that the dialogue is a bit better with your villagers, like more realistic etc. Also, I haven't played ACNL in forever , and I know there are a.lot of things I haven't even completed! Not even the museum, bugs, fish, paintings, and more. ACNL also seems to be a more chill and relaxing kind of game, and then ACNH offers a bit more activity. Is juggling between 2 towns a little much? Maybe I could play both.and have the best of both worlds? I still haven't experienced the HHA extension either.
What do you guys suggest?

I've been playing NL but I haven't played it before. I actually enjoy it so far more than I did NH mostly for the town area and for the villagers. NH is nice for decorating your map. I do think the update of NH will make NH much better and less empty feeling. If you want to play NL, I don't see why you can't go for it. Take your time on both games at once.

Really the only things that'll bother you (well bothers me) are

1. No wardrobe or fancy Dressing room
2. Terrible graphics
3. No furniture outdoors
4. Chaotic house placements.
5. Small inventory and no stacking
6. No half incremental movements of furniture

You could always just play New Leaf casually for a few minutes a day, since the feel is a bit more relaxed. Playing both a lot could be more difficult.

I feel like I get a lot more done every day in NL, I can play for maybe 20 minutes and feel like I did most of the town chores I wanted. I also really like the gameplay loop of going back and forth between the downtown. It's more relaxed when you don't have to worry that much about developing your town.

That's sounds good. I was hoping I could experience the best of both worlds since each game has it's pros and cons.
