Should I Restart My Town?

I haven't played my game in years. I don't even know how any of the amiibo stuff works in it lol. Egbert already left me so what's the point of keeping this town, right? But I'm so nostalgic. What should I do guys!?

You should only ever reset if you feel miserable about your town, if you can still find things about it that you like then you shouldn't restart.

You can always get Egbert again. Don't delete unless you absolutely hate your town or just really want a fresh start.

It's not finished. The museum is still missing items.

It might be easier to get back into it if you reset. There's more stuff to do at the beginning, like small goals to work towards, stuff to unlock and generally a bit more happening to keep you entertained.

it's always really nice to keep your first(?) town and i really regret resetting my first town even though it was a dump
unless your layout is really bad i'd say no

No unless you hate your map, your mayor's face or name, or the town's name. Or the placement of undestroyable PWPs.

Eh it's 50/50. You can get Egbert back. Redoing things can be a pain. I'd keep it and play around with it for a while until you get an idea what u want to do with the town.

I suggest keeping it and getting a new cartridge! I feel like that would be the best thing, especially since it is your first town! Like what the other people said, I think you shouldn't delete the town unless there are too many thing you dislike about the town!

I lost interest in the game a couple of years ago and since then I have reset my town maybe 3 times and never got back into it because of the drag of the intro and going through collecting everything all over again.. so I would say, if you still enjoy playing daily then don't reset! But that's just my experience I guess

only reset id you're not happy with your town. you can always get egbert back
