Should I get a PS3 or 360?

Nah, it's called an opinion. I've played all 3 systems thoroughly, and my opinion is that 360's the best. All consoles have pros and cons, and the best console for you depends on your style of play. I play almost exclusively online, and the last time I watched a DVD on my 360 was a couple of months ago. Logically, that was the choice for me. On the other hand, my friend Jack spends his time being OCD about collecting trophies in single player, and he doesn't like first person shooters much. Whenever I go to his house we watch movies on his PS3. Obviously, that was the console for him. It's all based on personal preference, because no console bests the other in all areas.

Anyways, I'm going to say PS3. It's got some decent shooters if you're into that, but what I really like about it is the amount of variety there are in games, such as LBP and 3D Dot Game Heroes.

It depends. If you're really into online gaming, and you really only want a console for gaming, get a 360. If you're looking for an all around entertainment system, get a PS3. I'd personally go for 360 in your case, 'cause you'd get it for cheaper and get more games with it. Plus you could play with me.
