I know I ask this pretty much every time a villager moves, but I don't know what to do. I've had the thread for him up since yesterday and I've got a few offers but nothing desirable. I know he's a tier one, so somebody should have taken him by now.
If you've gotten a few offers I personally think it's mean to void him unless people were deliberately lowballing to try to scam you. Why void him if someone wants him & is willing to pay?
If I were you, I would just hold a giveaway or a raffle for him. Being a tier one villager, there are probably lots of people who want him, but maybe they didn't see your offer or they weren't online. Just wait a while and I'm sure someone will ask for him ヽ(・∀・)ノ He's too cute to void~!
Why would you void him if you have been offered something for him and people therefore want him? Even if it's not the best offer it's better than nothing, and it will make someone else happy.
If no one offers then try giving him away instead, that's at least better then voiding him. I don't like when people void villagers just because they get no offers
be patient, sweetheart. sometimes even tier 1 villagers take time to get sold
for example it took me 2 days to sell Beau and he was no.1! and took me 3 days to sell Whitney. even Fang who once reached the first spot and was at his peak got auctioned and sold for only 6mil...
Well he is a fairly popular villager, so no. unless its already too late then rip
In my opinion, even Tier 1 villagers aren't being sold/offered quickly due to the fact that the trader is wanting TBT...Back when I joined, they were all going for in-game Bells, unorderables, hybrids, etc. and there were tons of offers and replies ASAP. So basically the demand has gone down since a) Most people that have been on the forums before mid 2014 would've either obtained their Dreamies or put ACNL on a hiatus/abandoned the game for quite a while, and b) TBT is beginning to have more value than in-game Bells, but then again Tier 1 and 2's go for a ridiculously high price (even if it is being converted with an average rate, but still).
You could always try reddit's version of trying to sell villagers.
Well if you didn't set a goal price that they have to at least reach, then you should just take the highest offer, it would be rude to just void him after getting offers, he's pretty popular and I bet if you really wanted you could even talk to the highest bidder and ask for more? You could say you meant to set the base price higher or something IDK, but it wouldn't be cool to just void him. You could even browse the "looking for" thread and message someone who really wants him, has him as a dreamy. TBH. I give away a lot of villagers, I gave Coco away today and she's kind of popular, but I only sell villagers when I really need the money or trade them for items I really need.
