If something like this were to happen to us, I doubt we'd get help the way we are helping Haiti.

We need to send money. We need to stop spending it on crap like CEO bonuses and get it where it really matters.

It's like a big middle finger at them. Like someone else said here, they need to be evacuated from there from future earthquakes.
My teacher was actually talking about how D.R. and Haiti are very close, yet nothing happens to D.R.
Not good with geography so I don't know how that works :/

Fault line. Haiti's on the edge of a plate, so when it shifts, they get quakes. It's not near the DR, so they don't get them that often.

Poor Haiti people.
People are fighting over food. My teacher told me that there was this boy, walking around with some food, and some guy hit that boy with a brick! That's how poor they are after the earthquake. We're lucky where we are. This class im in, we are collecting money for the people of them. Maann, I feel so sorry,
Another Earthquake? Even worse! I hope the young people that are up for adoption get adopted, the lonely find some place and if Haiti will be a fine place some time!
