Scoot is a Tier Five?

I saw a few people offer up a fair bit for Scoot today, and he is very cute as well. I guess I just feel like he is more popular than most Tier Fives and am a bit confused... Anyone have any input?

He very rarely has people looking for him. It was probably just a coincidence that two people wanted him today at the same time.
For example, if I didn't have Eunice and I saw her for sale, I'd probably offer a ton to get her. I've seen other people who think she's cute too. Doesn't mean she's tier one though.

He's certainly not tier 1, but later today or tomorrow we will see an update to Chrystina's tier list and maybe we'll see him rise up the tiers. He's a cutie, one of the cutest jocks.

I think Scoot is one of those villagers that isn't very popular(he's currently a tier 5) because not a lot of people know about him and for whatever reason he rarely shows up on the cycling threads.I saw the bidding war for him in the Trading Plaza today and both of the bidders had been looking for him for a long time.I had played ACNL for a good while before I knew he existed and was lucky enough to get him as a camper.

Yeah, I don't think he's a tier one...but he is a very decent looking villager though imo

Lol, I guess some people just like Scoot. I was the one selling him, just to see how selling a random villager would go, and it seems to be working alright so far. He was leaving and I didn't like him much anyway, so meh.

Elvis just moved in today. Crashing the thread here, but is he worth anything without his thrones?

I've seen people pay a lot for Walker and Joey even though they are lower on the tier list. It all depends on who is looking for them really. I've even seen people bid for Nate and offer all kinds of stuff for him.

Oh, I know. Some of the absolute best villagers are tier five, like Alice and Eunice, and TBH, if I hadn't gotten Francine for Lunavila, Scoot was my next choice, I was actually advertising that I was looking for Francine OR Scoot, he's definitely a fave.

I agree he's pretty cute! I'd expect him to be tier 3 or 4. But then again there are a lot of adorable villagers that just seem...uncommon because not a lot of people even know about them .-.

I seriously think by auto-voiding, we've created a shortage and demand for unpopular T5 villagers. But there has to actually be people looking for them. In my cycle thread, I need to know if they're wanted or I'll void them because it's pointless waiting around. It's frustrating to see a lil later maybe the next day someone looking for that very RARE T5 villager you just voided. I'm all about hose T4s and 5s finding loving homes! ^_^ Now that I've got Rodeo, I'm seeing requests for him all over.

I definitely think you're right. Finding certain tier 5s is way harder than finding popular villagers. I can't count how many times I was looking for Bubbles and someone had JUST voided her.

Indeed! We tend to call Tier 1 villagers "rare" villagers but they're only popular. Tier 5 are the true rare villagers.

Don't worry about the popularity of villagers unless you cycle. There are plenty of great animals in tier 5. In my opinion and observation, some people that just join the forums go to the popularity list and pick only the high tier villagers for their town and that can be sad.

I agree, I was trying to find Clay for a long while and it seemed like no one had him. I eventually found someone but dang, it was much tougher to find Tier 5s than Tier 1.

Pro-tip: you guys could all try tumblr for lower tier villagers on acnladopt. They're way more common on there and practically every villager gets snatched up quickly.
