Trading Samson moving on August 5th

Samson is moving soon, and so I'd like to trade him for another villager.

My favorite villagers are Savannah, Whitney, Margie, Lolly, and Hopper but if you have another one that is either moving soon or you want to get rid of, lemme know.

Ohh... And while you're at it, tell me how the whole "trading villagers" thing works cause I've never done this before. ;~;

Let's say I'm interested in Samson. I'd go to your town and talk to Samson, he'll say that he's moving and hint that he needs a town to go to, etc. It shows the option of saying something similar to, 'You can move to my town!', and if you click that then the villager will move to your town within the next few days...(as long as you have 9 or less villagers). Hope I helped you with that!
