I like the idea of him only docking at the secret beach! I didn't really have any plans for it, and it makes sense he'd use it considering it's a feature from the start on everyone's maps.

I love him using the secret beach. It'll suck for people who blocked that off with landscaping but...it was kind of funny because the other night I dug out space and placed a ramp to my secret beach, almost like I had a premonition.

I can't wait to see him! He's always been my favorite NPC, and I'm also glad that he'll be selling furniture as well as the art. I really wasn't expecting him so soon though. I thought the cafe and gyroids would come before him, but since the datamined info a couple of days ago, I was able to quickly terraform a path to the secret beach. I feel for those that have established islands with the secret beach blocked off, but there's going to be a lot of features that will possibly trump their plans in the future, so gotta roll with the punches. Island life will keep on changing.

I'm in the process of paying off the stairs to the secret beach, but in the meantime, I can ladder it.

I love the idea, he's a smuggler so it fits him perfectly to smuggle false and robbed art into our museum, and he can only do it in the secret beach because Tom nook has banned him from coming to the island since he knows what's he's merchandise
It's similar to how he's place was in CF for example, in that kind of hidden place in the alley.

I find it funny how dark it is in there. Like is it so dark so we can't tell if this counterfeit or not lmao but at least we get some light by looking at the art(?) I think it's dope though and finally a usage to the dock.

for everyone the have cliffs the last square can't be more that one level so, you can get to it with a ladder, I intentionally did it this way so it was hard to get to it, for the smugglers vibe.

I wonder how we'll be told about Redd being in town since obviously he's trying to be lowkey so wouldn't tell Isabelle (and that dog doesn't even notice visitors like Kicks RIGHT OUTSIDE HER WORKPLACE!!!). Perhaps via postcard like in some of the previous games?

I LOVE how the boat looks. Looks like there's a few more items available per day than Redd had in previous games? Might have to take another peek.

I love how it looks to be like a cross between older animal crossings where he had real/fake art and furniture both exclusive to him and not but with jacked up prices as well as new leaf with the ability to examine art to determine if it's fake before buying

though I wonder if he'll have a 1 per customer limit too like in new leaf, and this is why it looks like he has a larger inventory this time. due to the possibility of up to 8 players max living on an island

As a Redd lover since WW, I absolutely ADORE the idea of him having a cute little boat filled with trinkets and wares and counterfeit items. My heart nearly exploded when I saw it, and I'm super happy that the secret beach actually has a purpose!
I unfortunately now have to make a way to GET to said secret beach​
