Diana's the best IMO, but she's also very popular so it'll be hard to get her, unless you get lucky or did the villager reset trick.

I'd recommend the snooty penguins(Friga and/or Gwen), they're cute and very underrated.
Mint and Blanche are also pretty cool.

It's like Filbert's case. They just get overshadowed by other popular villagers of the same type/species. For example, Filbert has to contend with Marshal, Stitches, and Zucker, while Blanche has to contend with Ankha and Diana. Since those are more popular, people tend to forget that these other two actually exist and are worth mentioning.

Blanche is really precious, and ugh, I really don't wanna let her go, but I gotta build my town to plan aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Seriously, Blanche is awesome. Even if you don't consider her, you'll probably end up liking her a lot if you get her. <3

i have francine and soleil! francine is a pretty common snooty villager but no one ever seems to want little baby soleil and she's just the cutest hamster around.
