1. I don't know what is great reason to get this cool looking cat. However, he's just one of my favorite new villagers and he's a cat and I love cats. Plus, I think he'd look really cute being next door to my wolfgang. I've been trying to save nmt to win an auction. Ive been using my amiibo cards to get nmt to hopefully one day have enough to win him in an auction.

1. I've wanted Raymond since he was first revealed. I'm a "crazy cat lady" irl and I always have cat villagers in my AC towns. I think he's super adorable - esp with his glasses. I understand why he's so popular, but I'm also kinda bummed since it's so difficult to acquire him. Currently I've been stuck on the same day for almost a week so my last plot doesn't fill up. I've been slowly grinding Nook Miles on that day in hopes of finding Raymond on an island - so far I've done around 300 trips with no luck

2. Chrissy and Francine are iconic. I've found them both in my pursuit of finding Raymond and felt bad for leaving them.

Raymond has grown on me since I originally saw his design. Its odd to say but originally I didn't like him too much at first, I guess I just thought people were liking him simply for the eyes. I think partly why he's grown on me is because I've always had a love of smug villagers and his mouth mixed with the glasses just overall results in a really cute look that I enjoy. Plus as an artist I've always been a sucker for colors like grey, if I saw a real living cat that looked like him I'd probably fall in love haha.
In comparison to other villagers like Cyd or Dom(definitely Judy oh god) he has a more muted and down to earth look which I enjoy a bit more. Sure we all love those wacky bright villagers but its nice to see a more appealing casual villager. Its not often we get villagers like that with an appeal.

i saw a video of him dancing on twitter and it never fails to make me smile. and ever since then he’s been my dreamie, and i’ve tried all i can to find him on my own through island hopping, to no avail. only cows, kangaroos and more cows on repeat. but i’ll never give up just to see him smiling with his cute little fangs in my own island. fingers crossed i’ll get lucky. if not, it warms my heart already knowing he’s made so many people happy.

also shoutout to cyd. he’s so underrated and deserves more love!

1. Ever since I first saw Raymond I fell in love with him!! His design is so unique and cats are my all-time favorite animal (´ヮ`) He's such a dreamie of mine, he'd have a forever home on my island ♥ My childhood cat I grew up with had heterochromia, so seeing Raymond really makes me fond and nostalgic c: I want to have a little special spot for his home on my island.

Raymond is the major dreamie for me because for one, he's a cat and I adore cats in general after growing up with them. Plus the animal crossing cats are so cute with their big triangle ears! Raymond in particular is so cool because his design is super unique, from his heterochromia, his little glasses and his businessman styled clothes and themed house. Ever since I first saw him revealed as a new villager I fell in love, and he would have a forever home on my island

I bought some animal crossing amiibo cards in a mystery pack, and Francine was one of them! She is so cute ^-^

a) i really want raymond in my town since i fell in love with his design the first time i seen him. he's also the last villager i want for my "dreamie list," and my raymond hunt would be over! ...and also my bf's hunt, since he's been helping me hunt for him like crazy the past few days. it's literally all we've done the past few days - he's spent at least 50k of his own nook miles to help me! he's a trooper, haha.

b) i'll go with tasha - my bf has her in his town currently (and holy moly i really like her wallpaper!).

Reason: As cringy, sappy, stupid, annoying weird as this is gonna sound, I didn't actually like Raymond at first until I saw his dialogue. Once I did he ended up sounding/acting like one of my OCs named Patches (who is a neko, fight me, I was an 11 year old weeb and I can't bring myself to turn him human) whom I made when I was about ~11ish or so (am 22 now.) He's been one of my oldest characters who's changed a lot over the years and I treasure him dearly to this day. He and my other OCs helped me out of pretty tough situations growing up through roleplaying and making friends online and eventually IRL once I hit middle school. I'd love to have Raymond to sort of in a way have Patches there with me on my island. C:

Raymond reminds me of my beloved fur-baby. Her name was Lily and she was the cutest kitten ever. I love cats and nearly lost it when they announced Raymond. My Lily had a patch of white hair on the top of her head between her ears that we always said looked like a ruff of hair. <3 <3
