Raymond and Audie

I want to ask anyone, who has Raymond and/or Audie, how you feel about one or both islanders newly introduced in “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”?



(I am looking to get both. Not now. But, in the not-too-distant future.)

I have Audie, she fits the island life, she is the island life, beware though, her hobby is working out.
Raymond I had before and didn't click with him so to the void he went

I have them both, and like them both very much!
Audie was one of my original five villagers, and she is also the first one i got to max friendship with. Unfortunately, I have her in the original base house, so I haven't experienced her actual house

she's pretty jock-like for a peppy

Raymond is adorable, but smug villagers can be hard to click with, so I can understand why someone wouldn't like him
I really like smugs, and he's different enough from Zell that I don't feel weird having them both on my island

i had Audie in a previous save and i think she's really cute!! i just dont think i could ever let her stay on my island forever bc i dislike season-themed houses, like it would be weird for me to be in the depths of winter and i walk into her house and its just a summer island.

i havent had Raymond but i think he's pretty cute. i can definitely see why people would like him!! it would be nice if he could live on my island for a little while, but as with Audie i dont think i could let him stay. he just doesn't rly fit the theme im going with on my island, & im not rly a fan of the smug villagers in this game (theyre just so smarmy ugh)

I have both. Audie fits the whole island vibe very well, which I feel is a large part of why I like her. She lives on the beach with June and they have their own oceanfront area. Raymond is definitely overhyped. I like him a lot and think his design is cool, but nothing more that. Both of them are very good villagers and enjoyable to have around.

I don't have either, but I would choose Audie out of the two. She just seems to fit any island theme a little bit better. I find Raymond a little overrated. He's still cool though.

My Smug is Marshal. Like so many, he is one of my favorites.

I let go of my original Peppy, with her original house, Bonbon. And then I went on Nook Miles Island. I made about 20 attempts to get Audie. Unfortunately, it kept throwing me a mix of Villager Personality Categories. I figured, right then, the game really manipulates.

The islanders I have, who have their original homes, are my starting Jock Teddy; starting Uchi Katt; and original Lazy Erik. I am going to make some changes.

Raymond is awesome in my opinion, but you might not dig his house interior if you're not into offices. And no, my views of him are not shaped by how popular he is, but from my personal experience. Also for some reason, he really likes watering flowers and sniffing them.

i have audie! she’s super gorgeous and i love having her around - she works out a lot and definitely fits the whole island theme and she’s my favourite new villager ;u;

I've had both and I don't really like Audie anymore after having her. Raymond is great, he's just a smug undercover cat hacking the island.

I've had Audie and currently have Raymond.
I think I had Audie for less than a week before just not "feeling" her, she just didn't fit the peppy personality in my opinion.
Raymond on the other hand …. I filled him up with hanging terrariums and now we're best friends and I love him.... he's going nowhere!

Sometimes I'm a little tired of how much Audie is working out, but she's still adorable.

Raymond never fails to make me laugh, though.

I have both currently. I've had Audie for a while now. I like her design and house a lot. Like others have mentioned, she works out a lot (fitness is her hobby), and she doesn't really fit the peppy personality as naturally as some other peppy villagers. That said, I still really like having her on my island.

I just got Raymond last week when he showed up at my campsite. I'm not a big fan of the smug personality, but I like him so far. I don't really like his house as much - I need to gift him a music player and a chair he can actually sit on.

With both, it's just about setting realistic expectations. There's a lot to like about them, but at the end of the day, they're not technically different or more special than any of the other peppy/smug villagers.

I have Audie and she's great. I liked her so much I thought I could maybe handle another peppy villager but, no... it's just that Audie is cool enough to make the peppy personality shine.

I didn't know what to expect from these two being that they're both brand new to Animal Crossing but I like both of them a lot.They've been a lot of fun to have on my island so far.Raymond in particular is one of the goofier smugs I've had and I like that.

I have both and I love them. They both showed up in my campsite so I got lucky and didn’t have to pay the exorbitant prices they were going for.

Raymond I like because he’s basically me in animal villager form (we share the same name and we’re both office workers).

I love the wolf villagers and needed a new peppy this time around so Audie is perfect.

I have both and they're both great! I've really grown to love and bond with Raymond. He is always out and about and will always keep me company when I'm terraforming. I like Audie's design, and she's basically like every other peppy. The interior of her house is really cute too!

I have Audie. I liked her but had no strong opinion of her initially, but she's quickly become my favorite peppy villager. Her design is AMAZING, I love the backstory behind her name, and her house has lowkey become one of my favorites. I feel like she'll end up being one of those villagers like Fauna where they are basically universally loved for being all-around solid.
