Rare Sunrise?

I've seen too many rare sunsets to count, but in my 4 years of playing I have yet to experience a rare purple sunrise. Most of the information on them is from when the game first came out, so is there a specific time of year they are more likely to occur? Or is it just completely random?

They’re rare and random, occurring at any season.

Like Pansear said,they can occur at different times of the year.I saw this purple sunrise in late March of last year.

Since it?s a sought-after thing for many players, I?m sure there must be dream addresses with it so you can at least experience it that way^^

I'm happy to say that I've finally found a date with a rare sunrise! From what I've seen after doing research, March seems to be the best month for rare weather. In my 2nd town, there's a rare sunrise on the 1st of March, a meteor shower on the 14th and a rare sunset on the 16th

I hadn't heard of these rare sunrises/sunsets before. That's very cool! Are the pictures of all of the varieties able to be seen online somewhere? I don't think I've even been awake for a sunrise in my game in all my years of playing. ^o^;>

If the rare sunset is very bright red-orange, I think I've seen that, and I took a picture.

The thread that's linked here has screenshots of just about all the rare sunsets and sunrises that occur in the game.I've only seen them posted on fansites like Bell Tree or Tumblr.I don't think they're even mentioned on the AC Wiki.

I've personally only seen one rare sunrise, but no rare sunset.
