Random thing: Balloons are now sold in Nooklings

I was playing acnh just now..1:47 am and I saw you can buy balloons.

Yep i noticed that too. I've also seen the nook store sell sparklers. Haven't seen them sell the uchiwa fan or the tweezers but maybe i just haven't come across them yet.

Weren't raffle tickets cheaper than 600 bells? That would put this at about the same level of sense as having Leif sell pumpkin starts for half the price and showing up two days in a row for some people after the Halloween update: You sacrifice something (another NPC visit or the guaranteed knowing what you'll get) to get a discount

i noticed that a few weeks ago! i hadn’t bought anything from that section of the store in ages since completing my wallpaper + flooring and umbrella catalogs so i was definitely shocked to see the raffle prizes there aha. i’m happy about it, though; it’s nice to know that i can still get some balloons even though it’s not august anymore

I didn't play new horizons over the summer so I was pleasantly surprised to see that the raffle prizes were being sold in the store! So far I've bought some balloons, party poppers, tweeters, and an uchiwa fan.

Yeah it kinda makes Redd's participation at the fireworks pointless (for me). I spent soooo many bells trying to collect multiple of each item because I thought they were exclusive to the events. If I knew they were just regular items sold at the shop, I wouldn't have wasted so much time and money on the raffle...

It makes me wonder if this is permanent or seasonal. I already sold most of the fireworks items to free up space in my storage. Honestly, I won't even raise this concern if we have unlimited space.

As soon as the August Firework update came out it was available in store but was not available everyday I have noticed

Yeah, all of the items sold during the fireworks events are now sold in Nook's Cranny. I thought they wouldn't, so I hoarded a bunch of them in hopes of selling them to people but…that won't be necessary since the Nooklings happen to have them…

It makes sense, since they're more of a party item and the party poppers have been available since release so having another item readily available is cool. In NL at least (and I believe even in GC), you could order balloons, fans ect from the catalog. As this is not an option in NH, as well as some of the raffle items being exclusive (and cheaper to purchase, luck providing) I think it is cool that they are in the shop. I do wish Redd made a comment about it or something though, so people didn't waste time grinding specifically to get them at random!

Does anybody know if the colours of the balloons change daily? Also, are they just the circle ones or have the bunny and heart balloons come back?

I didn't know balloons were being sold in Nooks now. Better check and see if their selection changes per day.
