Question abt moving in the last villager that left

Ok. So I'm holding Sherb for someone. I picked him up. Then I moved genji out via amiibo. She got him to ping normally, got a spot open, and didn't fill that spot, sherb is still her last move out. Will there be problems if she adopts him back without having another move out first?
Does anyone have any experience with this? Specially cyclers

I had something similar with Sherb. I kicked him out because he had the beginner interior and found him again on the nook tour (same day) I invited him back and he was just fine.

It should be fine because there is no void cycle like in NL. Make sure she goes to your town to grab sherb though because if you go to hers before she gets sherb (and she has an open plot), there is a possibility of her getting Genji since he is in your void.

I don't see why it should be a problem. I've let a villager go only to find them on an island the same day. I'm sure if I invited them back it should be fine so your friend should have no problems

On my old island, I moved Dom out to get his normal home. I had his plot open up the next day and I was able to invite him back immediately to fill his exact old plot the day after he moved out and there were no issues.

Just so you know, I GOT MY BABY SHERB BACK!

You can totally recruit them back again and the villager will recognize you <3

"It'd be pretty fun hanging out together again!! Starting tomorrow, I get to live on the same island as you again!"

Not 100% if you recruit them from the mystery tours because I think that would be a different version of the villager. But if you're picking up the same one that you let go in someone's cycle town that was holding them for you, IT WORKS <3

It should work the same as other villagers? Though I'm not 100% certain.
