PWP Requests on Festivals?

I was just wondering if villagers request PWPs on festival days like today is the Harvest Festival?


I use the diving technique so

*Update* just walked round town after doing the diving method and no one at all pings so I think that might clarify it...

): Yeah I don't think that you will get pings until the event is over.

I don't think they do from what i've seen they don't ping on special events no matter what event it is or how long it lasts for I believe. Also with the new update the diving technique isn't really necessary, villagers actually ping a looooot more than they used to, so it's easy to get a PWP request within a few minutes. They ping as much as they did in ACWW tbh.

Ahhh okay I didn't realise! My game is updated but they still don't ping as much so I might just stick to it!

I don't think they'd ping you for PWP requests or anything for that matter during a special event (in this case, Harvest Festival), however, I got a ping from one of my cranky villagers last night after the Festival asking for a drilling rig, so yes, it's still possible BUT most likely after the actual event.
