PWP and Landscaping help.

Hello. Here is an updated version of my map. I am looking to place a cafe and police station. Which location is best?

Red is cafe, blue is police station, yellow is lighthouse, purple is windmill. The house by the campsite isn't going to stay there. Eugene just has to ping to move.

Also, is this path idea alright? I am bad at laying out pathways.

Red is main 2 wide path, yellow is one wide side path. Suggestions welcome.


And is it weird to have the path go around the town hall?

No,it isn't weird (the path). I like it! Flower path yay! (I don't know how to do spoilers in general.)

Go with that yellow spot, I only see one (the south one)
I say the police by the campsite is a good idea. In case you get any bad campers.
Both windmill spots look great, I would say... never mind, can't decide.
I like both the Brewster spots, just think which one is more convenient for you. Like, how you normally do everything. You need to get coffee SOME point, right!

I don't think a path around the town hall is weird, I have one around mine too.

The only thing that bothers me is that you have a 2 tile wide path leading to the town hall which doesn't align with the building at all. Not sure if I'm making sense so here is what I mean (T = Town hall, X = path) :

In my opinion, the path would look better if it was 3 tiles wide in front of the town hall, maybe something like this:



(Blue is a 3 tile wide path, yellow is a 2 wide tile path) You could put a fountain or a PWP in the square or just flowers... Again this is just my opinion and a friendly suggestion!

For the police station I would suggest the top right corner of the map, and the caf? south of the bridge closer to the campsite. I hope this helped you a bit.

I see what your saying. I was just trying to match the width of the bridge south of the town hall. I will try a 3 wide path.

Thank you. I was trying to make it look alright lol. the worst thing is trying to decide where to put pwps you cant redo ^^;

I totally agree. I kind of wish I had put my caf? in a different place...

So after doing this, i could try and add a fountain, though it wouldn't line up with the door. darn town hall.

Still trying to decide on a location for Cafe and Police Station.
Red 1 and 2 is possible Cafe locations
Blue 1 and 2 is possible Police Station locations

Red 1 for Cafe, not sure about Police though, I think I would have put it on Blue 1, and some camping-pwp beside the campsite?
But definitively the first red for cafe =)

i like 1 for the cafe, 2 looks weird since there would be very little space between it and the cliff

for the police station i like 1 too, but does it fit there? 2 is also a good spot if it doesn't
