Splatoon PSA to Play Splatoon 1 Before it Shuts Down

Hi everyone, just what the title says.

Much like New Leaf, the Wii U online is going down on Monday.

I just played some Splatoon 1 tonight, and actually got games!!! (for comparison, a couple of weeks ago I got three turf wars over the course of an Hour)

So if you have a Wii U gathering dust in your home, play now! while the game is active! before it bites the dust! try the broken specials! the broken abilities! the broken everything! it's Fun!!!

The server is officially closed now, but there is a third party server you can now access without having to mod your Wii U. Downside is you have to start a new account so brand new save file but it’s totally playable. Just look up Pretendo SSSL.

Modding can let you transfer your save over but for those who would rather not mod this is akin to Wiimmfi but for Wii U.
