So before a moved house I was power saving villages for giveaways, just got everything set back up and tried to reload about 3 different saves and they are all corrupt?

The only thing I'm doing differently is I have a new 2ds, but the cart is the same and even in my old 2ds the data is still corrupt?

This hasn't happened before so I have no idea why it's happening now? I've loaded multiple saves prior to my move, from the same Mac, to the same cart and into the same 2ds?

Please someone tell me what I'm doing wrong I don't want all the hours I spent to be wasted 😭

Well once it's corrupt it's corrupt, the file is broken. You're not gonna have any other choice than to delete them and start all over as far as I know. There's no restoring a corrupted file. I can't say exactly what you did wrong, but that's the kind of stuff you risk when you tamper with your game like that. It happens to some, doesn't happen to others. I guess you were just unlucky :(

talking about powersaves is pretty taboo here (as its against the rules to sell/giveaway powersaved villagers/items etc) but if the saves are corrupt, unfortunately there's no saving them. the game doesn't really give you a choice once the data is corrupted, you're essentially forced to reset. :c

I didn't think powersave was bad? I had a read through the pinned things and didn't see anything get said. Powersave is how I enjoy the game these days. I don't play it any other way. Just cycle and powersave lol.

I figured the problem, for some reason it was allowing the saves to come up with the wrong cart. So delete or whatever if any mods see this. :)
