Do a cosplay search sometimes. Lots of super easy ideas with stuff you probably have in your closet. Or like someone said, a little makeup. Get crafty.

Cosplay is a good idea. People can tell you are in costume, but when people "get it" it's really fun. Kammeh, I'm sure your sister really appreciated the true fans who realized she was Ash - and you had fun laughing about the rest!
