christmas eve because we have christmas with my relatives and stuff too. i pretty much just get money now, though, apart from a couple of gifts.

Usually Christmas Eve but it really depends on all of our schedules. I hope we can do it before I work Christmas Eve this year.

We have a tradition where we open only 1 gift per person on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas morning we open everything.

I usually open one or two presents on Christmas Eve, and then the rest on Christmas Day. Sometimes, (If I'm lucky xD) I'll get to have one earlier.

Sometimes I open them on Christmas Eve, sometimes on Christmas day, but usually I open all or most of them on Yule (also known as Winter Solstice)

Always Christmas day :) I didn't know it was customary for some places to open them on Christmas eve, that's interesting!

it varies by family here, i'd say half that i've known open at least a few on Christmas eve, other half save them all until the next day....

Sometimes I open a gift on Christmas Eve, but most of the time I wait and open them all on Christmas Day.

One present on Christmas eve
The rest on Christmas morning

Three kings day????? Is this American?

Just on Christmas! My dad's birthday is Christmas Eve so we've never even considered doing it the day before. I live in America so Boxing day isn't a thing and I've never heard of the Three Kings day!

Three Kings Day, which most people probably know as Epiphany Day, is widely celebrated as the primary Christmas gift-giving occasion by many latin Americans; not sure if the custom originated in Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, or where exactly... but its in commemoration of the Magi bringing gifts to the infant Christ... per legend their names were Balthazar, Gaspar, and Melchior...

Oh, thanks for the explanation :) The more you know!

Christmas Day, my family is really traditional and therefore we're not allowed to open presents until that day. Sometimes I wish they weren't so we could open them on Christmas eve or earlier~ :P

Christmas routine every year:

-Wake up family
-Eat Breakfast
-Open presents

Absolutely no touching presents until after breakfast or else xD

dang that's some discipline!! no gifts at all until after breakfast?? do you have a full breakfast or just toast? that's gotta be the most hurriedly devoured meal of the year in your house!!
