My family is slightly disjointed, so I have to open my gifts at different times. Since my immediate family (consisting of my parents and myself) like to go up to the cottage but my other family members don't, we have two different Christmases, one we celebrate with the family, and one for ourselves at the cottage. I open gifts at both Christmases lol.

I'm starting to never really open my christmas presents on the real day, I open them right when I get them! So much for christmas ahaha but we eat good food so yay xD

Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but presents from friends get opened whenever I receive them (normally I meet up with my friends the weekend before and do a big present exchange) unless they say to save it for Christmas.

Normally what we (my family) do is open our stockings one at a time in my parents room at about 7-8am over a cup of tea, then we open our presents at about 9-10 after breakfast but sometimes we will save them until after lunch if any relatives are coming over for lunch, if they are coming over after lunch we exchange and open presents over afternoon tea and on Boxing Day we see the other side of the family for lunch and exchange presents after that.

This year though it will be the same up until midday, I'll be going with my boyfriend to see his mum and exchange presents, then on to his dad's for a late lunch and exchange presents after that and finally we will be going to see one of my work friends for the evening as she can't see her family this year, because of that I'll be seeing one side of my family a few days after Christmas, Boxing Day will be normal.

Christmas day and then i go to relatives on boxing day and they give me money lol
It has always been Christmas morning and i love it!

With the family it's Christmas Day. But there will be 3-4 different days of exchange/opening gifts with people - it's better to do it early so you can be there to see the other person's reaction to their gift!

Christmas Day and Three king day mornings

ah, its multiple choice- you coulda checked off both and joined me in the Three King's Day column!

(i shouldve also called it Epiphany, i know a lot of families in the Greek church open gifts at Epiphany, altho i think in the Eastern church it's not on Jan.6)

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
On Christmas Eve after my church service I unwrap presents that I get from my family on my mom's side, and then on Christmas Day I unwrap ones with my parents and then I visit my grandma on my dad's side to see my family on that side and we unwrap presents there too.

It depends, usually we open them on Christmas Day after going to the Christmas mass but a couple years we've opened them on Christmas Eve

For the most part we open things on christmas day. For some reason though we have this weird little family tradition that we get pyjamas to open on christmas eve so that we can sleep in them that night going into christmas day.

My mom likes to give me a lot of my presents early, she gives me several on random days throughout December, but I usually end up opening the rest of them on Chrismas Eve, and then spending Christmas Day using them.

I open some on Christmas Eve (from my Grandpa) and some on Christmas day (from my mom).

that doesn't sounds weird- that sounds pretty fun, especially if everybody is wearing them for the Christmas morning photos around the tree.

Usually Christmas Day but this year I'm traveling to visit my dad and family so my mom is giving me her gift earlier (money)
