Poll: Do you think Gulliver will have multiple identities in this game?

I don't think so since there are various NPCs in the game that take the roles of different events. But who knows? Maybe he'll have more things for you to do when he washes up onto shore. Instead of looking for circuit boards or whatever, maybe he'll give you some pirate themed DIYs on the spot for helping him out, too.

Nintendo have just announced that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is to get not one, but two Summer Updates. The first one is out on July 2nd/3rd!

Keyword occasionally, it seems there will be 2 different types of Gulliver you can get.

I hope the game rolls for Gulliver first, and then rolls for the type, rather than throwing the new Gulliver in the pool for visitors.

We've already got some pirate items in this game, which is the anchor, barrel, sea view, and ship deck. So I'm really hoping they give us the helm, Jolly Roger, keg, pirate's armor, ship cannon, ship compass, and vintage telescope. If they can give us the wooden box item as well, that'd be a plus.

I don't think they are going to give him different personalities. Just different costumes and sayings. I think it would have been cute if they used this idea to lean into something like "What are you talking about? I'm OBVIOUSLY not Gulliver. I'm his cousin Robinson!" or "I'm his twin brother Ahab" or something to that effect.

I feel like they won't give him multiple "personalities" but maybe he just came back from some special event and is dressed different? Or maybe its a family member of his! Perhaps his crew? Idk "multiple identity Gulliver" just sounds like a personality disorder to me and I feel like they won't have that in this game lol but who knows!

Maybe Gulliver is the undercover name for a group of different seagulls. I just don't think NH Gulliver could (poorly) operate an UFO.

I wonder what is he gonna ask you to search for this time. I think he is going to send you the pirate items that Pascal used to give in nl, while Pascal is gonna teach you how to craft the mermaid furniture. I am not a fan of both of these kinds of items, tbh.

I hope not. I've got only got like literally four things from him, and the ugliest ones too. Ever since Leif was added, he's shown up like twice at most, so the fact that he can give out even more stuff makes me kind of sad. At this rate, I'll get the full set by 2022 lol.

His ancestor gets caught up in the Bermuda Rectangle, travels through time and washes up on your shore every now and again. Because of course he would. Is my headcanon for now, anyway.
