Police Station

I just got my very first PWP suggestion (in my current town anyways - I restarted), and it was the police station! Now I need to decide which style and where to put it.

What police station style did you choose, classic or modern?

I think they're both pretty ugly unfortunately. Classic looks like an outhouse and modern looks like a tin can. Yuck :c

I chose classic, since I feel it will fit my town's overall "theme" more when I get to work on that. (plan to have it be a sort of mixed old/fantasy hybrid)

I picked the modern police station because it looks like the one from the GameCube game. Though it was a tough decision because I like Booker a little more than Copper. I wish we could have both of the police officers.

Classic mainly because Booker. Booker is my favorite and I love for him to always be in my town. <3 Also I felt that the Modern one didn't fit well with what I planned with my town, so there's that.

Like maybe after the Police station gets built Booker and Copper both introduce themselves and you get to choose who gets to stay and patrol in your town or something.

Oo, that's a good idea. I wish that was actually a feature in the game :O
I like Copper more, but I think I'm leaning toward the classic station more... If only I could have both

Picking the officer would have been a little better. Though I always liked the way that their personalities contrasted in the older Animal Crossing games, so I was sad when I found out that they weren't a pair anymore.

That would be amazing! They could have shifts and take turn patrolling :3

I actually didn't mean that, though that would've been the best.

Or maybe do something like have the one that isn't working at the station help out at town hall during the night hours.

That or just have them switch shifts similar to how Pelly and Phyllis do.

Ugh crap for some reason I chose classic even though I meant to choose modern ;(

Anyways I agree I definitely think it depends which one fits the overall theme of your town more. But for me it's easily the modern because of Copper. If I'm putting someone in charge of a POLICE STATION then I want him to be strict and disciplined yet kind and looking out for others as #1. For me Copper filled that role perfectly. When I looked up Booker he sounded kinda bored, unsure of himself and was wavering. I can't allow that to go on at my police station, I don't know about anyone elses :3

It depends on what your town looks like. I have a more modern town, so I chose the modern one. Plus it looks like the one from the Gamecube.

The Modern one makes me really nostalgic for the Gamecube version but the overall style of the Classic Police Station fit a lot better with my town.

OMG I TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS IDEA <3333333333 HOW CUTE XDD And I really love their caring message like "I hope you not wandering alone at this hour" xDDD which is kinda true and so sweet to remind me as in my country is never safe to walk out aloneafter 7 xDD

Anyways I choose Modern as most everyone I know picks Classic.

Classic should've really been the one with copper because hello, it's the classic from the old games. I like the look of the wooden one but I hate booker.
