Pokémon Pokkén Tournament: Discussion and Speculation

I suspect it's going to be similar to Smash Bros, but different as in it's more similar to Tekken, which is an arcade fighting game that there's arcade machines for in Japan. It will be 1v1 from what I've seen, but not on stages or 2D; more 3D and in open areas where you can move around with the characters more freely. I think how they handle moves will be similar to Smash Bros though, and I think they each have different final smashes as well.

Also, I'm not sure if there's online or not in this game, but I'd suspect so for it to become even more popular. I agree; there should be more dragon Pokemon as playable. I believe Garchomp or Salamence would make nice candidates.

Salamance would be very suited to this game imo. Garchomp... I'm not too sure. Maybe dragonite or hydreigon. I agree that online would make the game much more popular. I don't know whether I would get it if there's no online multiplayer.

Me neither. It would lose value quickly without online. Also, I'm going to be maining Machamp since he looks cool and fighting with four punches at a time will be awesome. What about you guys??

I doubt it. Smash struggles on the 3DS as is, I don't see tekken working well at all.

Wii U is a dead console with only FP support though, Pokken isn't going to help it much.

the japanese arcade game is getting an update where you can have mismagius and ninetails as support pokemon from october through november 3rd (there's also halloween costumes but who cares about that)

posting due to the possibility of these two being support pokemon in the wii u version
