Pokémon Pokemon you find impossible to catch

Is it impossible to catch a Tynamo in Chargestone Cave? Because it feels that way right now. In fact I've just hit the 300 encounter marker just from walking around for a couple hours and encountered everything but a Tynamo. I'm so frustrated I want to chuck my 3DS out the balcony.

Anyway, are there any Pokemon you find almost impossible to catch and why? Was there a time when you were trying to catch a Pokemon and it felt impossible? Post about it here.

Omg I saw a video on Youtube about how rare Feebas was on that one route in R/S/E and it only appeared in certain spots

And yeah, I feel your pain on Taillow, freaking annoying, right?

You got Mewtwo down to one HP in the red and it's paralyzed, confused, burned, poisoned, and frozen all at the same time! You threw an Ultra Ball at it! 1 shake! 2 shakes! 3 shakes! .......

Ever try to catch a wild Beldum? It's not fun... not fun at all. The only move it knows is Take-Down with 15 pp and it has the catch rate of a typical legendary. Even more than a normal legendary capture, it comes down to sheer luck.

Pokemon are a lot easier to catch nowadays because of the rates changing and using friend safaris, but I'd have to agree that Feebas was one of the hardest because you practically needed a guide to know where to get it, and personally I always found Chansey hard to catch in the actual first gen games. And getting Porygon wasn't easy to get in those either.

definitely easy, even if horribly tedious and boring


also, wasn't Feebas something like 6 random tiles that were different for every file? how would a guide even help with that?

That's got to be the toughest thing ever in Pokemon. X_X
