Completed both games and picked Chimchar. There is an Event Pokemon in the game right now and it ends on April 30th. To unlock the Event you need to get a Member Card from a Mystery Gift April 1st to April 30th. It's a post game Pokemon but as long as you have the Member Card you can hunt it pass April 30th. So far I've caught it non shiny but going to try shiny hunting it on my other Copy.

Okay got my copy of Shining Pearl and it’s been 11 Piplup but no shiny so I’ll continue my search tomorrow

They shoulda went with teh hd-2d style instead of building it on a outdated source code now like its honestly one of the worst remakes i've played so don't even bother buying this ****.
