Plot setting problem, has this happened to anyone else?

See mine have always been the first day later, and I'm scared if I move a day ahead Papi will be lost! After trialling 10 times I'll demolish something, and if his plot doesn't show up there either I'll save and go to the next day I think

Yep as I suspected, as soon as I demolished a PWP the day before (the day I invited him to move) Papi's plot has shown up! On an amazing development he has still placed himself on one of my assigned places on the first go, so needless to say I'll be saving haha!

I'm hoping it was just a weird glitch and the next villager that moves in will agree to go there, or at least somewhere around that area!

Thanks for the advice you guys have given, and if you still have anything to add or this sorta thing has happened to you feel free to post here still or private message me, I'd love to really figure it out lol!

I haven't ever run into a problem like this, I have three houses lined up almost perfectly in my town. I didn't actually read far enough in to know if you fixed it haha, but if you haven't, just keep trying! Hopefully this is helpful in some way <3

Hmm I've just had another idea, maybe plots cannot show up if there are already too many structures (Buildings, PWP's) regardless of if there is enough room for the said plot... as where I wanted them to go certainly had a lot of structures surrounding it... I'm gonna ponder that idea for a while haha!

Nope didn't technically fix it, but managed to get my villager placed elsewhere on a pre approved (lol) spot, but he certainly refused to go in the original area! Thanks though

Just make the area you want him in have a bigger area where he could possibly plot. It'll take longer, but the plot may show up.

Yeah that is definitely what I'm gonna do next time to get someone to move in that place... its the only thing left to do at this point haha! Thanks for your help

Oh sorry didn't see you posted again, no it didn't! As soon as I demolished another PWP elsewhere though it showed up straight away! I seriously don't get it, hopefully it only did that the once and won't do it again in the future!

You do understand it always, always takes two days for an invited villager to show up, right? There is no way an invited villager would show up in just one day. ^^;

Well not for me, the villagers always turn up the day after I've invited them, and Papi did the same once I gave him another spot to place his house! Perhaps its just different for some players, but mine always come the next day!

Nuh-uh, villagers from other towns always take one day to show up. It's campers that need two days.

@OP: glad you got Papi, but still a strange occurrence!

Thanks! Yep it really is strange, I just hope I can eventually get someone to move into the spot, otherwise a lot of plot resetting work will be down the tube!
