plot resetting.

I tried plot resetting.

I fist tried it with my second human player ( robin ) to get a villager to move it's house some where else.
After deleting robin, I tried 10 times now ( with everytime a new human villager ) to let the villiger move onto another space, but he doesn't.

What am I doing wrong

You have to use a New Save File, not a saved 2nd character

Yeah you shouldn't have loaded any permanent characters as the game saves when you load them, so you won't be able to move the plot now :c
As Haydenn said you need to start a new save file and see if you like the plot position, if not just reset and repeat.

The game saves the plot location if you start as any existing characters, not just your mayor (the reason why some guides only mention the mayor is that not everyone has a second character). You need to start a new file and go through the train thing with Rover, because that way, if you don't save the game the state of your town when you loaded won't be saved.
