Plot resetting? I forgive you.

Okay, so I was plot resetting in my new town, and noticed a theme. My void was clear, and the game kept giving me smug villagers. I looked up the list of small villagers, and realized: I can get Zell, my dreamie!

But then, something even better happened.

My brother got Marshal as a random move in and I sat there chanting

I hope get Zell soon. The deer villagers are adorable. Bam is my all-time favourite villager.

Marshal was the first villager to move into my town (not counting the 5 starting villagers).

At first my reaction was "urgh who's called Marshal in this day and age", then I was like "oh this cream puff looks cool" and didn't realise how popular he was.

You can reset for the random move ins, like when you have 8 or fewer villagers, the game will randomly generate one to move in, so you can reset which one the game gives you.

Still confused that no one else uses this. It always resets for the missing personality (of the second last move out). I explained this in a previous thread but I always use this method to reset for dreamies one personality at a time. It's quite fast, I finished getting them all in about 2 days after I restarted (playing just in the evenings). I eventually got bored of letting tier 1s in just to sell them or give them away though since I'd get them all the time. Sorry Rosie/Marshall/Beau I don't have time for you guys.

That happened to me. But with cranky. I got bored and Angus ended up moving in. Not the best but not the worst one.
