plot resetting and the 3x4 grid

i saw your post earlier, it's really weird :/ i hate it when tech doesn't work as intended, because you never know if it's your own fault or the game
i hope you find a good spot for Hamlet he is so cute, and if i didn't have Antonio in my town i would definitely have him instead!

Yeah, he's definitely cute! I want him to plot right next to Apple but so far it isn't looking so good. I guess I have to keep trying!

He keeps plotting ON your paths? That should be impossible now. Have you updated your Animal Crossing New Leaf in the Nintendo eShop?

You can verify by looking at the title screen when your game starts. When you start up and you get the first few of your town (so before pressing A or Start), does the title show 'Animal Crossing New Leaf' with a red banner 'Welcome Amiibo' underneath?

Yup! It's all updated now.

How many villagers are living in that area? There's a limit to 3 villagers per acre.

What you really should mind is that you don't change the time with Isabelle, because she will automatically save the game, and you cannot plot reset anymore.

You should quit the game and then in the 3DS menu go to 'System Settings' (the icon with the bolt screw thingie, the wrench? english is not my native language). If you open that, go to 'Other Settings' (the icon bottom-right). There you can change the date of your 3DS, thus changing the date of Animal Crossing.

Then you can load op your mayor normally (keep watch of Isabelle's dialogue and make sure she saying that it is yesterday), put patterns on the ground.

Then save again and close Animal Crossing.

Go back to System Settings and change the date to today. Start Animal Crossing again and make a new character to start plot resetting

i did the thing now and i'm currently still trying to get Erik to move to the right spot, but he keeps finding other places where i haven't laid down paths. WHYYYY

Yay so it is true! I kept hearing about it but now that more people are confirming it makes me so happy! I never had enough patience to plot reset my villagers in the perfect spot. Once they were in an okay enough spot I just went with it hehe currently have one spot left and when I do get the villager this will make my life a whole lot easier!
