Please help - Can you ban other players from your town?

I recently had a bad experience with someone coming to my town. They took things without asking and were not respectful at all. When I delete their friendcode does that prevent them from coming to my town? Or will they still have my code and be able to come over when I open my gates? I'd love to know an answer, as I really don't want the person to come back.

They can only come to your town if you have them added. If you delete them they can't come to your town anymore.

Delete them from your friend's list, as Lin says. They can't come in after that.
