playing animal crossing while

I don't, I really like the game's music :p Plus I really like the small details they've included when it comes to sound design. Maybe that's weird but I don't care 😂

I seconded to this. It's part of the experience to enjoy a game's music.

I like to either just listen to the music/sounds of the game. Or I put on animal crossing soundtracks that you can find on Youtube. Like the ones that play New Leaf's music because oof. 😤 🥺

i usually have on random youtube videos in the background while I play, unless I'm doing a task that relies on sound cues. glad to know other people do this too!

I enjoy the game's music. However, it's nice to be able to play while watching videos on YouTube or VODs on Twitch, chat with friends over Discord. So glad I finished uni this year; otherwise, New Horizons might have taken over my life! 😂 Or I might have studied more efficiently to have more playing time... 🤔

I used to listen to the game music when I played but that got old after about a month and now sometimes I like to play some of my favorite film soundtracks or some Spotify playlists I like. Oftentimes I play silently or have the TV on in the background too!

I'm not a huge fan of ACNH's soundtrack, so I will often listen to some other music while playing, or watch something on youtube or twitch.

Definitely. I don't really like this games OST... so I just put on whatever I feel like listening to on my mp3 player lol (which is mainly early 2000s music)

I'll usually either listen to audio books or YouTube book reviews while I play. I wish there was an option to mute the music in the game and just have the sound effects. Whenever I hear the music from New Leaf now I feel sad knowing that I don't like the music in New Horizons nearly as much.

I had to visit the Isle of Wight for work today so I got to play Animal Crossing on the ferry there and back. Got paid for it too!

I always listen to the in game sounds/music when I play because I don't want to miss it if a villager pings me (although now you can see the speech bubble come up unlike New Leaf) and I also have a hard time fishing with no sound.

So I generally just sit down and play ACNH by itself, although occasionally I guess I'll watch TV or something while I play but I would only be "half watching" the show and more focused on my game, and in that instance I would have the volume on low so I can somewhat hear it with the TV.
