I lurk here sometimes, but I'm at a point in life where I've changed a lot between when I was active and the present. it would be nice to see TBT change for the better and return the events, and maybe then it would once again become the active AC forum it once was. but by that point I'd be too far removed from them and have moved on to pursue other interests. my account here is now nothing more than a relic of the past.

The turtle returned to the hill for his morning strawberry, and I didn’t realize this, but turtles make some weird noises. After he swallowed part of the berry, he made this breathy, high-pitched sound. He also peed, which I take as him getting too comfortable with us. 😅
 
Spinda is one of the most worthless Pokémon ever, along with Luvdisc. They get nothing: no signature Abilities/Moves, no evolutions, no Megas or exclusive Z-moves, no regional variants, or any other special gimmick.

At least Luvdisc is good for farming Heart Scales, but Spinda has nothing. Unless it's shiny. Then you have yourself a one of a kind shiny ........A lame shiny imo, lol

Yea...a lot has happened, but when staff announced no events until further notice I think that was the final nail for a lot of people. Since a lot of members came back expecting Camp 2025 or summer events and when they saw there weren't going to be any they left. And while I'm not trying to defend anything that happened back when a lot of members first left, if I had a forum where a good portion of the community only came to the place to do events I would probably be discouraged to put a lot of effort into events as well. Since if I stopped doing events it would eventually lead to a less active forum and if I kept doing them I would eventually burn myself out.

Even before with everything that happened I tried hosting game events on tbt since I thought that would be fun. I saw they were active when mods like Mairmalade hosted them so I figured there would be interest. But since I couldn't feasibly have things to offer like a blue car collectible I don't think that many took interest. It was often just me and another that would play and it was still fun, but really discouraging seeing that dynamic. That members would only play/hang if I paid for their time with collectibles.

I still wish that Pokemon had an evolution and the same with Luvdisc Dunsparce was able to get one in Scarlet and Violet.
 
I’m not sure if the bird chilling on top of the wall in my backyard was struck by lightning or it doesn’t care about the current weather. If it’s the latter then I’m envious.

Edit: It flew away. 😌

YouTube suggested to me a video of the most unsettling game overs. They were all tame, lol

I've seen more disturbing ones. I only agreed with the Majora's Mask game over, because everyone dies, including Link. Usually the Zelda games just end with Link collapsing to the ground, followed by a simple game over screen. Majora's Mask does that, too, but we all know the real game over is that moon crashing into the world.

Come to think of it, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is the only other Zelda game with a sinister game over. The monsters want to revive their master, Ganon, using the blood of Link...... and they succeed.
 
My mom says Clancy Brown kinda looks like Dick Van D? (Not sure if I can type his full surname here) He’s not as thicc as Clancy, but I guess they look similar…even when younger.

What is an 'Anime Tourist'? I saw videos on YouTube being recommended to me that had the word plaster all over them. Seems like it's something negative.
