Got home this morning after surgery. I took a short break from the forum, but I guess not long enough. I was hoping to connect with some folks during my couple of weeks at home of recovery before going back to work. But I mistakenly started reading the official feedback thread.

Super depressed at the moment, but hopefully I can find a MKW match or, literally anything positive that we can all agree on during my time away from work.

I will even buy and try a new game if it means I can play with nice people online for a bit while I recover!

I'm not one to make video game references over something serious

Although if you play Red Dead Redemption 2 it's extremely similar to chapter 6 of that. (beaver hollow).

the theme of the chapter is that due to poor leadership decisions there is a serious drop in morale and characters begin to leave left and right.

The chapter inspires a hopeless feeling.

Love how he just t-poses and shoots piss lasers as attacks. Mega Man X7 is such a good video game. 10/10.

Seriously, the fact that this went through multiple developers and no one thought it needed to be changed is wild. But I can say that about literally any aspect of this ass game, like how anyone thought Snipe Anteator’s stage or the Flame Hyenard fight were completely okay as is.

I honestly do think I would have picked up Super Mario Bros. Wonder had it been a game where we finally explore Princess Daisy's kingdom again (the last time was in Super Mario Land)

Sarasaland, the actual flower kingdom rather than just "Flower Kingdom." Daisy's subjects could have been the Poplins and Prince Florian could have been her steward or main retainer, kind of like Toadsworth is to Peach.

We could have had Tatanga as a main antagonist again rather than the same old Bowser shenanigans...... In Mario Kart World, Nintendo brought back those Easter Island moai statue enemies as track obstacles. What a massive tease, lol

It's criminal keeping the SML ost stuck on GameBoy forever. Link's Awakening was saved from that cruel fate, at least.

I'm aware they remixed the SML underground theme for Brawl, but gosh darn it I want Muda Kingdom, too

Maybe I would like Daisy more if she had her own game for once. But whenever I look at her, I'm reminded of the absolute missed potential. They don't even respect her enough to give her a Final Smash unique to her own skills and personality.
