Yeah the storms have been pretty bad. Been raining a lot all this week and today had a nasty thunderstorm. I was pretty sure most of the gardens I planted and or grew from seed were gone with how much wind, hard rain, and hail was going around. Nothing was damaged, but the house near me was hit by lightning. Burned all the way down to the ground. It was so loud and even with such intense rain it didn't stop the fire at all.

No one was living in that house, but I'm still processing how close that was to hitting my home.
 
Sometimes I wish I was shorter. People act like short girls are cute, like Sabrina Carpenter. But what’s funny is I saw a woman on Reddit ask if being 5’11” as a woman was a dealbreaker for guys, and they were like “Of course not! I thought you were gonna be 6’4” or something.”

And then…there are women six feet and over who might really find it hard. As a 5’6” lady, it puts things in perspective for me.
 
Don't think I've ever experience a dust storm here before?? It got dark and heavy all of a sudden. Lucky I was indoors, but the dog gave me a bit of a scare still being outside at the start of it. Dummy (affectionate) was more concern with bothering the rabbits under the deck than listening when called. Everyone made it inside in time though.

Hope everyone stays safe in these wacky times. Crazy weather. 😬
 
I’m not sure what to do now. I still have a lot I want to do but my head still feels like it is spinning. I’d like to post in my island journal but I’m still having some issues.

Stall until forced to Struggle, and spam Protect... Such a lame strategy, but can be very funny in the right situation. Like right now, LOL as I make my way to fight #50 in the Battle Tree ⚔️🌳
 
I really want Birkenstocks and thought I got the right size, but their sizing is sooooo weird. Hopefully I’ll end up with a good pair!
 
My local zoo was closed bc of storm damage. Thankfully, nobody (human or animal) was hurt.

My dad joked about “being trapped in the penguin house” during a storm and how bad it would smell…. 😂 While that’s true, as long as it’s safe…!
 
I think I want to spend the rest of my life living alone. I won’t pursue romantic relationships actively and if I meet someone cool I’ll try to arrange living separately permanently. The thought of having solitude with myself and my pets makes me feel happy. For those brief times I had the house to myself overnight I felt much better.

Knowing I won’t have to deal with talking stages or rejection anymore makes me feel relieved. I’m going to try to move out before I turn 26, which gives me until early 2028 to have things sorted out. I’d like to try to move out beforehand.

Based on where my life is going I should be able to afford a small house for myself. I have a few places in mind. Which one I choose depends. I want to visit all of them before making my decision.

I understand, truly... although I am much older than you... but you are young so I feel it is my duty to say "don't give up, you will find somebody!" I know that comes across as empty from most people.

Again I understand, and I am happy alone with my cat!

Ugh those are the worst! Or if you get a leg cramp. I'll just be watching a show and 'hey it's me leg cramp, do you mind if I do this?' Sudden stiff pain 😆
