I have to draw Arsene’s second wing and I really don’t want to even though this wing is going to be mostly hidden 
. I’m so impatient to be done, yet at the same time, I think the amount of time I feel like the process has been extremely satisfying, enjoyable (even though I’m complaining lol) and worth it so far (even though I’m feeling incredibly impatient ) since I want to say it is helping me improve my shading and kinda understand the smudge and blur tools on this program better or at least use them better than how I have been using them.
I’m making blue flames behind Arsene like there are in the reference I’m using; but with the flames in the front and the way the feathers are a similar shade of blue in the lighting, I’m not sure if this will look good even though it looks great in the art that I’m using as reference. The part where there are purple flames won’t be showing much if I decide to follow through with making the background of the egg similar since Arsene is taking up most of the space and the egg shape limits how much of the background that I can do too.
I also have to somehow draw this chain on his vest and some little metal circles on his legs. Not excited about those either
Unrelated: I wish one of my clownfish could replace the badge; the badge works better with a different lineup idea. I think I purchased the clownfish when I did for a specific reason, otherwise I’d consider date trading it.
