Place your random thoughts.

I did an online test a few days ago for reasons and apparently I have significant autistic tendencies and traits, which is interesting to know (I’m not using it as an official diagnosis obviously).

When a corporate company has us nobody's answer a survey, the managers sure lose there minds trying to corral reality.

I thought of an ad message for a life sim:

“Customize your character! Expand and decorate your house! Decorate the island! Chat with your fellow islanders! Join the fansite, participate in events, and collect collectibles for your sidebar!”

What do you think I’m talking about?

It’s kind of crazy but I think my grade is actually good now? At least my classes are. It’s rare for there to be so much talking that the teacher can’t teach now. I’m pretty sure that’s because I just happened to get lucky and have no ghetto kids in any of my classes.
"Ghetto kids"?

If I had to guess, I am going to nicely say the poor kids?

Final thought... this thread is very selfish from what I have seen.... I think I am one of you.

But it's also weird how one person can get 5 or 6 likes/hearts/hugs for saying something mindless, but everyone else, with genuine thoughts and looking for some sort of recognition or conversation is ignored.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

Here’s a really unpopular opinion especially for someone who’s part of the LGBTQ+ community: Tina Turner had a terrible voice. And I mean really bad. Her cover of I Can’t Stand the Rain isn’t really pleasant to listen to and it’s extremely dull and lifeless compared to Eruption’s disco cover which had amazing vocals from Precious Williams and Ann Peebles’ version which is the original and has soul put into it. And some of her songs have her clearly singing in the wrong key. I mean Private Dancer doesn’t sound quite right and it feels like it needs to be sung in a major key and in a higher octave.

I really hope this doesn’t happen, especially since we get only one AC game per console.
Except for the 3DS. That one got TWO AC games.

There’s a dog breed called “Bouvier des Flandres” and I wonder if that’s where Matt Groening got the Bouvier (Patty and Selma) and Flanders (Ned) surnames for The Simpsons….
Groening got Bouvier after Jackie Kennedy’s maiden name. He said it himself. This is why Marge’s mother is named Jacqueline and her family background is French.

It's a beautiful morning. I stepped outside and everything is so green and full of life again. So many birbs chatting and gossiping, too. It gave me inspiration on how the next chapter in my story should start.

I should consider going on morning walks instead of afternoon walks. The air is much cooler in the morning.

I hate it when I have to sneeze but then it just won't come out. Like GOD that's an annoying feeling!
Same here. It's also annoying having to sneeze while eating. It happens to me a lot and I hate it so much, lol I'm in the middle of eating a sandwich and then suddenly, I just sneeze. It's sometimes......messy XD

Saw an ad for my dream job, at the perfect location, willing to consider someone at trainee level. It's part-time at 4 days a week, but the pay is high enough that even pro rata it should be liveable on. It is a competitive role so I don't even expect to be short-listed, but you don't receive any of the opportunities you don't apply for.

Applications don't close for two weeks so it'll be a good while before I hear back. But that's okay. Even if nothing comes of this the three hours I spent updating my resume for this type of job will still be useful in future.

If Bell Tree Forums started having yearbooks, here’s what I expect the front cover to have each year:
  • 2013 - ACNL town tree is planted
  • 2014 - year is golden, 10th anniversary chocolate cake, along with tons of candies, a few ice creams, and ACNL stuff
  • 2015 - year is on fire, Halloween and Christmas stuff can be seen in background and foreground
  • 2016 - year is glow themed, complete with the digits being pink, green, yellow, and blue. Villagers carrying glow wands, and fireworks are in the sky.
  • 2017 - year is pixellated, background looks retro-themed or 80’s-themed, characters are pixellated
  • 2018 - year is covered in flowers, all villagers featured were villagers in the polls of the first villager week, with Coco wearing a crown and holding a disco ball egg
  • 2019 - year is written in Animal Crossing font, as the setting looks like a deserted island with Nook Inc stuff
  • 2020 - year is in clouds, and all villagers are in their PJs
  • 2021 - setting is a summer camp with five team flags
  • 2022 - setting is an enchanted forest
  • 2023 - setting is outer space on a spaceship, as you will see villagers in spacesuits and alien babies
  • 2024 - setting is at a birthday party, with a 20th birthday cake

I’ve seen that there’s a TikToker named Cierra Mistt (not sure if that’s her real name….). She claims she and PepsiCo were in a lawsuit over her name (being like the drink Sierra Mist) and that’s why it’s now Starry.

Personally, I think this was just a way to promote her page…but what do I know?

Okay… I’m gonna try to word this in the best way possible. Do you know what “the hood” is? I mean that. People who are from there are usually the ones who cause most problems at school like constantly disrupting class, hotboxing/smoking weed in the bathroom, getting into fights, wearing ski masks… etc.. I felt like the term “thugs” would be kind of wild to say so I just said that since that’s basically synonymous with “hood.”

…should probably also mention that I’m a poc and I’m definitely not trying to be racist/colorist right now lol, just in case any of that somehow sounded insensitive.

I hate when people buy food from other restaurants but steal condiments/utensils from ours because they can’t be bothered to ask Chick-Fil-A for any. And it’s not like they’re taking one thing; They grab handfuls of ketchup packets and a huge bulk of napkins!

OK, based on a quick search, her real name is Cierra Huffman. “Mist” sounded like a plausible surname (maybe not with the extra T), but then again…why would someone name their kid after soda?? I guess it could happen, though.

I've been watching Duncanyounot a lot recently. I first watched his videos a year or so ago when this girl and me had to wait behind in the school building for our siblings to get out of after school classes and since we didn't have anything else to do, we just suggested different youtubers to watch and binged their videos during that time. I think the after school's went on for two months, so after that I stopped watching Duncan, since I had no one to watch with and I can't be bothered to watch videos on my own most of the time, but one of his videos came up in my feed a few days ago and I've watched nothing but his channel lol. It's weird how things you do in the past influence you, I would've never clicked on the video a few days ago if I hadn't stayed after school with that student last year.

I’m really liking my OC concept and am considering maybe writing a fan fiction for her eventually. I got quite a bit of small scenario ideas, so maybe start by writing the scenarios and add on to them eventually. I am terrible at dialogue writing and descriptions though, or maybe just writing; everything always sounds better in my head 😅. Growing up all my teachers used to tell me how good of a writer I was and how they’d love to see me become a writer someday, but now as an adult, I can’t help but think I never was good at writing.

I wouldnt put too much thought into it or take it personally. Though I think this was one reason why it took so long for the forum to add like buttons and emojis.
Activity on the forum should be because you want to or feel comfortable commenting or participating in whatever, not for likes and emojis. Also, I'd be surprised if most people go through a thread and read every single comment. I think people tend to use the like button or emojis if something about the post really sticks out to them or is really relatable. A lack of likes or emojis doesn't mean it isn't liked or being ignored.
I just wanted to say something positive the best I could. I have noticed a few people in the forums expressing something along the lines of this approximately the past 8 months or so and I find it a little sad. (Not saying feelings don't not matter). Something else to consider is how many members are active at the time. As the Switch 2 launches or as the next AC game is announced, more members will be active, more new members will come, and dormant members will come back into the forums.
