Had a dream I stumbled upon a Wyoming kids’ show about a Christian version of Elvira (with blonde hair and a red dress) and it was just as odd as you’d expect.

Honestly, when I saw pics of him in Supercon...this was the first thing that went though my mind lol.
I don't really look up actors a lot, but I was surprised to see that he's voiced in a lot of shows that I've actually watched. He has a great range of voices! Lex Luthor from Superman/Justlice League, Avatar the Last Airbender, TMNT 2012, ect! Oh and a farting dragon from Samurai Jack 😅

i remember when NH was announced and i had feelings mixed about it right away.

TBH what really ruined the game for me is its lack of unpredictability. i feel like that’s such a core aspect of animal crossing and that’s what used to keep people playing. i missed when you picked a layout for your town and were stuck with it or when you couldn’t stop a villager from moving in to a particular spot. nintendo can’t get rid of terraforming or reserved villager plots because many players would not be in favor of that but they need to implement that unpredictability in a different way. IMO getting rid of the unpredictability is the biggest mistake nintendo made.
I don't know if I felt that way right from the start. I think I might've thought it was interesting, but was a bit indifferent. I do remember the trailer looking more aesthetically pleasing than what we finally did get. Especially the winter section with the villager rolling a snowball? The colors and all looked more unique from what I remember.

I agree a level of unpredictability is nice, but I also remember a lot of those things being a pain. I remember wasting so much time plot-resetting so my one villager would stop planting their house in a garden of flowers that I took hours to make look pretty. To me what really hurt the game was how much content they gutted for their new features which turned the game into what imo was just a designing sim. I love designing and decorating, but I can only do so much of that and when everything else is lessened or cut it really helps to show the games flaws when there's nothing else to redirect my attention.

Like in NL, when I'm done doing mayor duties/pwp projects I can go to the island for mini-games, the villagers are actually engaging (maybe not as much as previous entries but way better than what we got with NH) lots more villager activities (treasure hunt/hide and seek, ect) and overall little simple things made the game feel whole. Like sitting down next to them if they're best friends makes them smile gleefully and now if you do that in NH they just don't acknowledge you at all. It's like you're there, but you're really not there.

I can go on and on, but the game just doesn't have any soul to it. I know many will disagree with me, but I don't care for the phone app either. It feels so impersonal. I loved getting haircuts at the shampoodle. It was charming. Now it's just done through a mirror and we can mold our entire face like it's clay. It just lacks the charm it used to have imo.

I dreamed that the forum's name was changed from TBT to TYT and the banner had streamers, balloons, etc.

Apparently it was a big deal. A bunch of people came back to celebrate. The thread was super active with posts. I remember one post talking about birthstones.

But the "Y" in TYT was never explained, lol and I woke up.
Jeremy sold TBT to Sotashi something and they changed it to The Yen Tree. NFT turnips for everyone! 🎉

I was shocked when I found out he voiced Dr. Neo Cortex and Uka Uka in the Crash Bandicoot games.

He’s also done a lot of live-action stuff, like Billions, Shawshank Redemption, Starship Troopers, etc. (and Supercon, like I mentioned…which wasn’t good but at least he was shirtless.)

The CW is showing a rerun of his newest live-action show Good Cop, Bad Cop, so I had to record it. 😭

I've been getting this itch to draw lately. Should I scratch?
My laptop unfortunately is a Chromebook and I don't have a tablet right now.

My only thought on Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement…wouldn’t she be the “music teacher” rather than the “English teacher?” 🤔

I paid a visit to the free library in my community yesterday morning and was taken aback by a tiny group of Bibles blocking the view of most of the books in it.

Like whoever did it pulled out one of the many fantasy books (we have so many) and placed one on top of the rest of the books. So whoever goes to reach for that book, a tiny little bible falls out along with the book. So dirty/rude.

I took the Bibles and crammed them all in a corner nice and neat for whoever wants to read them.

When we visited my grandma once, she was watching an episode of Chicago Med (I think), and there was one scene where a guy was choking on a Christmas ornament. So we asked, “What are you watching?!” And she says, “Oh, I’ve seen this one before. It’s a good one.” 😂

I really dislike this decade. I'm sorry 2010s, I was so wrong about you. So very wrong.
But I know one thing. I hope someone out there is documenting everything. Don't let these rats get away.
During the 2010s, (especially early 2010s), I thought everything was corny and people were way too optimistic…now I need that energy back. 😭

One thing I canNOT ****ing stand is people who place so much importance on etiquette. I'm not a fan of etiquette to begin with, I think it's stupid, so whenever someone has a conniption fit due to lack of it, I kind of wanna throttle them.

Over 30 squished spotted lanternflies later, THAT'S when my bus arrives lol 👟🪰💀 they were not kidding when they said these things are an invasive species. Practically every minute one would fly by, and when I go for walks, they are everywhere.

I know people are upset about Sabrina Carpenter’s new album for various reasons, but the name of it just reminds me that my dog passed away. (“Man’s Best Friend”) I know it’s a personal issue, but it’s tough

It is officially Sept. 1st. Just another month until my favorite quarter of the year starts.

I can't believe we're almost done with this year. Everything is going by so fast.
Yea it's really weird. Feels like I was on this forum doing the flower/watering event not that long ago but it was actually in April 😅

Time goes faster when you get stuck in a repetition of the same stuff. So I guess if we want it to feel like it's going slower we should just shake things up and do new hobbies or whatever. Or not. I don't know lol.

Seeing my extremely innocent New Leaf posts from ages ago being marked as a violation (on Tumblr) is so funny.
