I have seen a bit of hate coming for mega Victreebel, so not all been good compliments.
But yeah, I think a lot of them were just hoping to see a mega flygon and thats it.

as of august 25, i would have started my first new leaf town 10 or 11 years ago. i can’t exactly remember if it was 2014 or 2015 and unfortunately i don’t have my original file.
 
I'd be willing to try the medlar fruit at least once. Knowing me, I'll end up liking it.
 
I started planning my ACNH town an entire four years before the game came out, but at this stage I haven't started planning at all for whatever the next AC will be. We're 5 years in, I need to get working.

Oh wow I didn't think about it, but I would've got New Leaf for Christmas 10 years ago. It's crazy that New Horizon is already 5 years out. It really doesn't feel like it with how time seemed to be affected with the pandemic. At least for me.

I don't think I could ever plan for the next mainline game. I didn't think we would be getting an island life version nor did I expect them to withhold so much content for a year and half. I have such mixed feelings about NH. I just hope that whatever and whenever the next game comes out, they learn from mistakes and make a definitive addition with what worked in both NL and NH. I just hope they don't look at the sale numbers and decide to push out NH 2.0, because that would be disappointing.

i remember when NH was announced and i had feelings mixed about it right away.

TBH what really ruined the game for me is its lack of unpredictability. i feel like that’s such a core aspect of animal crossing and that’s what used to keep people playing. i missed when you picked a layout for your town and were stuck with it or when you couldn’t stop a villager from moving in to a particular spot. nintendo can’t get rid of terraforming or reserved villager plots because many players would not be in favor of that but they need to implement that unpredictability in a different way. IMO getting rid of the unpredictability is the biggest mistake nintendo made.
 
The museum subreddit claims Norman Rockwell’s art sucks, is “kitschy,” and would never be shown in a museum…I just saw one of his paintings in a museum the other day lol.
 
i didn't realize how much junk food had an effect on me until recently cuz my tooth was extracted. my dentist gave me the okay to drink something else other than water and i've been sitting here enjoying some chocolate milk. i don't even drink chocolate milk, i was just that hungry 😭
 
I dreamed that the forum's name was changed from TBT to TYT and the banner had streamers, balloons, etc.

Apparently it was a big deal. A bunch of people came back to celebrate. The thread was super active with posts. I remember one post talking about birthstones.

But the "Y" in TYT was never explained, lol and I woke up.
