It would seem a bit excessive and a bit of a waste since I'm not a good artist and it would just be for events on here, but I kinda feel like I ought to get a drawing tablet or something. I'm better at drawing with a physical pencil or pen than I am at digital art (with a mouse :eek:), so it would be better for event entries if I was able to draw with a stylus on a digital screen and then send the files to my computer instead of drawing on a piece of paper and taking a picture of that.
 
It would be so funny if I just changed my pfp to some random politician or old hollywood celebrity just so people can guess who my pfp is lol.
 
In Literature class they’re making us analyze Calvin and Hobbes comics, and that made me realize, I actually like reading these, but being forced to write two paragraphs about what the color of each speech bubble signifies or what’s happening in between panels makes me hate it. I don’t care and I don’t get why we have to do this. Earlier in the year we had to do the same thing but with ads, and it was the same there. Like why do I have to make an entire presentation comparing and contrasting the stylistic choices of two advertisements? It’s so stupid. The teacher being really good at his job is the only reason I don’t hate this class. There’s actually two teachers for the class and most people who have the other one hate it, so it seems like I got lucky. Still think this class sucks regardless.

Mine is currently a wrestler so close enough. But yeah definitely my pfp aesthetic lol.

I keep getting people on Steam who try to get all my cards in exchange for a few lousy banana cards, and I was confused about why until I realized I had 347 of them. Someone told me they sell theirs, and since I don't pay much attention to cards anyway, I might as well do the same. Each card isn't worth much, but if I get rid of all of them, I might get a decent amount.
 
Alright, I'm just now venturing into Garry's Mod with some AC villager addons. Lots of things to learn. My ultimate goal is to create some semblance of an animated short, but that will take some time. For now, I'm going to try and learn how this works and screenshot some scenes for a new island journal story.
 
i randomly remembered something
i was part of a relatively big discord group (400+ members), used to be a little active a long time ago but in the recent years i havent been on there at all.
anyway this year i messaged literally just once at the start of july just to promote my artfight. pretty much it. then more than a month later (mid-august) a mod pm-ed me saying my discord was going against the rules of their group because my twitter, which was linked in my discord, had my age on it, and by the rules they didnt like ages being shown.
i was like, oh okay i'll take it down i guess. but anyway the thing i was a little bothered about was how a mod bothered to check my twitter from my discord profile when i was never active in the discord group for years... sure i messaged once, but my message quickly got swamped since everyone was promoting their artfight. i didnt bother showing up in the group again afterwards.
i guess discord mods do random member checks? or something? my name is right in the middle of the member list and my last message was more than a month ago so either the mod scrolled way way way up to check my message for some reason or just went through the 400+ member list for. some reason. idk ive never been a mod of a big group but they probably do that
 
So I went through my Steam card list, and I have a card worth $23.65. I guess that explains all the scammers going after me. I put it up for sale tonight since I don't like the character on the card, and I have no interest in Steam cards anyway.
 
Allegedly, Christopher Nolan’s next big movie is an adaption of the Odyssey, and it’s coming out in 2026. No word on the cast, though. Probably won’t be my dream cast, but I am curious as to how this will turn out.
 
I've been sorta wrapping my head around my brother becoming a dad.

I also know this might be one of the last times we spend time together more intimately. He'll fly home after the holidays and from here on his life will forever shift towards his new baby.

I have no issue with it. I'm excited for him and I know that's the cycle of life.
