I think my pokemon slump is finally over. I started a challenge run where other people suggest pokemon for me to use in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and it's the most fun I've had with a pokemon game in several years. In a few weeks, I'll try playing Pokemon Firered in Spanish to practice my reading in that language and see the little differences between it and the English translation.

I slept on it, bought it, and have spent most of today playing it. No regrets.I played the demo of Fae Farm this morning. Currently debating if I should buy the full game.
My favourite part about this farm sim is you can double the day length.
My least favourite part is it uses my PSN name rather than letting me name myself. I prefer to use my real name in video games.

I'm on act 3 now. Just finished act 2 and completed everything that was available up to that point. That took awhile and had to look some stuff up too.
I wish Nintendo games would go on sale at better prices, especially once they're 3-5+ years old. I would buy way more games, and spend way more on Nintendo games. I'm sure Nintendo has done the math and that's why they don't discount games much anymore, but I do wonder if they'd make more money and sell way more copies if they had better deals.
See this boy Zippo? He is from "Tomba 2." I LOVE ZIPPO! He's the BEST! No one should hurt this precious bean or they go through ME!
Needless to say, I got the game today. Didn't get far. I don't know how to "save anywhere" Lol.

FINALLY got to meet Birdie and Leo on Ginger Island. (Stardew Valley) They seem like interesting characters.
I went to Gamestop yesterday, and saw a game you NEVER see out in the wild. "Bakeru" for $34.99. I didn't get it though. They also had your typical Mario and Pokemon games but I did NOT pick them up obviously because the new Pokemon games are whack. Also, I gave a couple of my older Mario titles to my brother last week because *surprise* He got a Switch 2. Mario doesn't amuse me anymore as much as Sonic and...maybe some unknown titles. Even Sonic does not impress me much these days (looking at Sonic Superstars, SonicXShadow Generations and Sonic Frontiers, all three NOT my play-style).
I looked up videos of Tomba 2, and it didn't get good reviews (after I bought it with E-shop money lol). I can see why now
I still love Zippo though, the only good thing about Tomba's franchise.
I also looked up Bakeru videos online. It's a beat-em-up which I don't do well with. I mean, it reminds me ever-so-slightly to the Ninja Turtles on Switch so i'm glad I didn't get it.

I feel like i'm getting out of my Pokemon slump to a very small degree. I have a plane trip on January 3rd, so this week, I'll use my current Pokemon Omega Ruby file to whip up some misfits, then use Pokemon Bank to transfer them to a new save file and start over.
I wish I didn't sell my Alpha Sapphire game all those years ago. I'm a big ORAS fan through and through. I even have all six issues of the ORAS manga...which I still need to read lol. Past ORAS, I see no need to restart any other game because gen 7 and up are whack.
I do want to restart Yellow, Crystal, and Silver as well...eventually. Those games need some love on my 2DS.
I also have a physical copy of Gold, but no proper system to play it on except an old GBA with no backlight. I wish I had a GBASP. GBASPs have backlights. My Gold cartridge needs a new battery anyway lol.
I wish my friend would bring me her Moon cartridge so I can give her some free Pokemon. I have literally nine boxes of Pokemon above level 30 called "Friend Box" in my Ultra Moon file. I just want to give those 'mons a new home. I know she'd appreciate them. January 5th is when I *hopefully* see her again. I'm going to have to remind her. She is my best friend after all.
BUT BUT BUT in other DIFFERENT IP related news, what the actual heck is Silksong, and is it any good?
