People who got Marshal randomly?

I'm wondering how many people got Marshal, commonly seen as the most popular villager in New Leaf, through the random villager cycle system or as one of their starting villagers instead of using Amiibo cards, the Campsite, or by getting him off other players.

I just happen to be one of those people. If you've happened to have gotten him randomly before, post your story on it.

Technically, I could have asked this with any villager. I chose Marshal because he's seen as the most popular, and I got him randomly.

I've gotten him as a random move-in in both of my cycling towns... As the seventh villager for both of them.

I have a few times from random move ins. Shame I don't like Marshal at all.

Yeah, I've got Marshal randomly in both of my towns. At first I didn't like him and kicked him out lol.

He moved into my spare town July 2013. At the time I wasn't paying attention to the villagers. I spoke to him a couple of time and it didn't make me want to keep him. Town became a guest town later for visitors.

Years later he appeared in another spare town. The players didn't speak to him but my visiting mayors talked to him. Grew to like him and when it became a real town I kept him. He's one that doesn't ask to leave much.

Way back when my main town was new, Ribbot plopped his house on top of my only perfect apple tree. I liked him, and he played in my yard 24/7, but when he asked to move, I let my mom adopt him. I was feeling a smidge guilty about letting him go, but then I immediately got Marshall in my campsite. I was thrilled! He's adorable. I later replaced him with Molly, though. Sorry, Marshall.

Not me, but my friend got him randomly in both of her towns before. In fact, I met him in her first town before I found out he was popular.

He moved in very shortly after I started my cycling town. I was shocked and thrilled to see him as I knew he would be snapped up!

He moved in randomly in a town of mines back in the past...and he moved right in front of my house!

I have had him move in randomly a couple of times, but the one I mentioned above was the worst of it.

when i was just starting out my town i found out marshal existed and fell in love. one day after that when i got my second villager move-in It Was Him

While cycling for a different villager, he ended up being a random move in. Didn't take long for me to fall in love with him.

I've gotten him in two different towns through my campsites.

I got him randomly as a move-in a number of times and once or twice through my campsite.

i've never even seen him in-game...
