Patch notes for 1.4.1

These are the patch notes for the just released update tonight:

General updates
The following issues that occurred in Ver. 1.4.0 have been fixed:

• Fixed an issue where trees could mature and contain things other than the normal fruit, etc.
• Fixed an issue where shining soil disappears after returning to your own island after a dream and buried Bells appear in that location instead.
• Fixed an issue where the player swings their shovel through the air when attempting to hit a rock placed at a certain location.

Not sure what the first thing means specifically, but it could mean that things like star trees are patched out. Any confirmation?

lol nintendo's gone and done it. I don't hack but the star frag trees were pretty. I guess either they saw them or people reported DAs containing them.

Yup star frag trees have been patched out, apparently appearing as money trees now that maintenance has passed. There's been alot of dream reports so maybe they got fed up lmao

Aww, boo, star trees were so pretty I don't hack, but it's a shame for those who did and enjoyed them!

Nintendo knew about the star trees pretty much immediately lmao especially after that one article that was posted about them. They were probably working on a patch for quite a bit or may have been pushed after all the dream address reports.

I really hope Nintendo allows us to have star trees in a legit manner. They can't deny how popular they were, and how much everyone would be happy to have them.

Oh, most people who had money trees didn't pay for them using in-game currencies. I imagine that between the NSO ban and now losing the trees, there are going to be a lot of extremely unhappy people.

I honestly don't how much irl money those hacked tree cost, but honestly, regardless of how much people spent it was a risk that people should've known. I hope those people don't get their refunds from the sellers if they want them back.

Here’s hoping that they add the trees in legally. Maybe Celeste gives you a special shovel? Idk

Interesting about the first one. Wouldn't hackers simply hack the trees back in? But then again, that's what they get for going against Nintendo's terms of use.

If anyone was only playing the game to have some star trees on their island, they are like on the same level of investment as the people who downloaded the game in March and played for three days
