they obviously knew about this for a long time now though, but i think it’s the dream address reports was the moment when they have had it

think about it why is it a 1.4.1 update not 1.4.0.

I think they dealt with them now cause they’re actually apart of your game when you visit the dreams, so other players might’ve been worried or mad at that (which is kind of justified imo)

but like if you’re worried about it just don’t visit the dream

Not sure if this is patch-related at all or not, but in my second town in March, I can buy balloons at Nook's.

Edit: Here's the proof if anyone's curious. Apologies if it isn't new, I've just seen no mention of it anywhere else.

Sad about the star trees though I’m not personally affected since I don’t have them, but it is what it is.

Makes sense they removed the star trees. Although we can hope they add some sort of variation back that you can obtain legitimately.

I personally believe this wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the controversy with certain YouTuber, really. Either way, it's sad that they fed into his ego if anything and he doesn't get any sort of punishment. I do hope that star trees do come back into the game, but it isn't necessarily the unconditional way to get people happy again. Simply adding more customizing options would be good, say, adding fairy lights to trees or more customizable fences, I can tell you I'd forget about star trees if they give us pretty tree decorations so that the landscapes don't feel as empty.

I was looking through AC twitter last night and saw a few people having tantrums because they spent 10-20 dollars to get them. Others were doing clear out giveaways because they’re dropping the game over this. Yikes.

Really, the main issue with the hacked trees were that they were being sold for real currency. While, I have very little remorse for the buyers, they knew the risks, I’m glad that scammers can stop profiting off of them now.

Also, just learned about the Verlisify drama. I didn’t even know he branched off into stuff outside of Pokemon?? Best if the AC community just ignores him, he’s always been a turd being ****ty to others and throwing fits in the Pokemon community, doubt he’s changed. Don’t give him credit for this. It really is as simple as Nintendo patching hacked trees because it violates their ToS.

I'm not in august indeed, didn't think of that detail, not sure it is related or not. But like I said they are not all available everyday, the items rotate in the tool cabinet. Anyway the point of my reply stays the same, that the items being available at nooks is not related to the patch like the person said, but they have been here since the wave 2 update

I mean, I knew about the tree thing and didn't bother with it at all, however, I just hear for the very first time about the other two issues? Well, nice to hear that they got fixed, even if I never had to deal with them.
