Overrated and underrated villagers

Someone was kind enough to give me Mac, and I am not even ashamed to admit that I squee'd when I saw his little face. He deserves his own cult, but nope, he's not too popular at all. What an adorable jock tho.

The lazy villagers do seem a bit underrated. The most popular villagers I've come across are the more recent characters of various personalities (other than lazy).

Monique ~ the amount of sassiness that this cat emitts is unreal

Lily definitely: very adorable.

I believe that Marshal is really overrated, along with Merengue. (I prolly butchered her name, do excuse)

Blanche is another wonderful snooty. She has a pretty design, and a cool, minimalist house.

I agree on Erik and also would like to add all of the wolves. I can see how some people would like them, but it seems like EVERYONE likes them. IDK, they're not that cute to me. Underrated, I wish there was more love for Sparro (and all the other birds), Monique (she's so beautiful to me!), Agnes and Fuchsia (my 2 uchi friends, they're so sweet!) and of course, my bff Carmen. <3 Carmen. She's at the tip top of Tier 1 in my book.

I miss all my villagers who moved too, I understand. I'd say you can visit him in my dreamtown, but I can't pimp my dream addie with my town being what it is at the moment.

Underrated: Chevre, cause she's my fave normal and totally adorable

I've said this before and I'll say it again.
It's all a matter of personal taste and opinion.
Just be glad there are villagers to suit everyone's preferences and towns!
Makes things way more diverse and fun.

Underrated: Diva, Caroline and Dotty.

It's all a matter of opinion really, as it's basically based on looks. I don't think any villagers are really 'better' than another

I think Ankah is over rated. She's cool i guess. I really really love Vesta! I think the sheep are underrated

Yes but there are villagers whose design appeals to a wider range of players. Whereas the ones we're calling "under-rated" are overlooked by the majority of people, for one reason or another. Everyone's entitled to their opinions, and we all bond with different villagers for different reasons. But as someone who loves some of the "over-rated" villagers, it bothers me when I think people are just hating on them for being popular. There's nothing wrong with a villager that has a wide appeal, just like there's nothing wrong with loving a villager that others overlook.
