I'm tempted to know...but also agree that I'm scared to do it and have some glitch where it goes through lol. Irrational, I know. Considering I've had the town since 2013 and I've done a lot with it, I'm safely going to assume it's a pretty high amount.

I'm waiting until I have all the amiibos I want (to get certain items) then will check. It will also be (confirmed) my solo town. I'm trying to build up Fantasii as much as I can to get as much muns as I can. I wanna be one of those people who can get the hundreds of millions. I don't know how people get 999,999,999 but I will try to find out.
I am DEFINATELY keeping my catalog. I plan to make a thread in Re-Tail asking for help with my completing my catalog.

my town is only a month and a few weeks old, next Wednesday (November 1st) it will be 2 months old! I want to try to see how much bells my town is worth but I'm scared to do it lol. but I just tried to sit on my tree a couple days ago and it worked!! Finally

You're town won't be deleted until you're in your new town and the game saves automatically after you plant your tree. It's not easy to accidentally delete your town unless you are really not playing attention. Again, your town will not be deleted until the game saves in your new town after you plant your tree. so that means you would have to go talk to Isabelle, talk to Tom Nook, get your house, talk to Isabelle again, plant your tree, THEN the game saves, and THAT'S when you lose your old town after you plant your tree in your NEW town. You won't lose your town just getting it appraised. If you feel like paranoid after getting it appraised, just turn the game off then turn it back on and your old town will still be there.

I will repeat, you will not lose your old town unless you get to the point of planting your tree in your NEW town. It's not easy to accidentally delete your town in this game unless you are really not paying attention.

I know it'd be difficult to accidentally delete it, I guess I just don't trust myself haha People should just be aware that your town tree has to be at least level 4 (so you can sit on it) before you have the option to sell your town - 50 hours, 50 days.
Though I didn't know that you don't lose it until you are planting your town tree in your new town. Never tried it though.
